WhatsApp has begun asking users to include their date of birth on their profiles, leading to rumors that the platform might be getting ready to roll out age-verification tools in India. A screenshot shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav shows a notification in the app stating, "Upcoming laws in India require us to ask for your age." As of now, WhatsApp has not made an official announcement regarding this change.
