West Bengal initiates mission to repatriate over 2.2 million migrant laborers
The administration in West Bengal has kicked off a dedicated initiative to assist migrant laborers from the state who are currently working in various parts of India. Officials have pinpointed more than 22 lakh workers across 22 different districts, with the largest concentration found in Murshidabad. This program is designed to enroll these workers and their families into the central government's VB-G RAM G scheme.
