Rasheed, a 57-year-old from Wayanad, passed away following a crash between his scooter and a pickup van on the Thamarassery Kaithapoyil-Knowledge City road. The incident took place at approximately 7:30 PM. Both Rasheed and his wife were initially rushed to a medical facility before being transferred to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. Rasheed died from his injuries at about 2 AM.
