VOC Port sees 471.39% jump in cement cargo during Q1 FY27

The VO Chidambaranar Port saw a massive 471.39% increase in the volume of cement handled, alongside a 106.55% rise in windmill blade shipments. Additionally, cargo movement for oil cake and copra climbed by 51.63%, while edible oil shipments grew by 12.50%. These figures underscore the port's expanding importance in transporting goods for the industrial, agricultural, and renewable energy sectors.
