Visa plans to cut 2,600 jobs, report says

According to a Bloomberg report, payment giant Visa is set to reduce its staff by approximately 2,600 people, which accounts for about 7% of its total employees, in an effort to boost efficiency. In an internal memo, CEO Ryan McInerney explained that the layoffs will mainly impact the product and technology departments. He further noted that artificial intelligence is assisting in speeding up this transition and changing how tasks are performed at the company.
