Vikram-1 nanosatellite carries Sun-observing payload into space
The SOLARAS nanosatellite, launched by the Vikram-1 rocket, is carrying the VISWA-M payload to analyze the Sun's spectrum across various wavelengths. This mission also serves to test an affordable design for academic space projects. The technology was created by students and staff at VIT-AP, working alongside the Bengaluru startup Grahaa Space. Skyroot Aerospace developed the Vikram-1, which marks India's inaugural private orbital launch vehicle.
