Vance supports increasing H-1B visa costs to encourage hiring Americans

The Trump administration is looking to hike the H-1B visa fee to $103,265. Vice President JD Vance stated, “If an American corporation needs workers, it should hire and train Americans.” This new fee would be required at the time of filing an H-1B petition, on top of the current charges.
