Vairamuthu Appeals to CM Vijay for Bharathiraja Memorial
Lyricist Vairamuthu has requested Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay to construct a permanent memorial for the late director Bharathiraja. The suggested location for this monument is Bharathiraja's burial site in Theni. Bharathiraja, who was known as 'Iyakkunar Imayam,' passed away on June 10 and was laid to rest with full state honours. Vairamuthu visited the site personally and later shared his appeal on social media.
