Uttar Pradesh government introduces ₹59,000 crore supplementary budget for FY27
On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented a supplementary budget of ₹59,019 crore for the 2026-27 financial year in the state assembly. The allocation features ₹22,107 crore dedicated to medium and heavy industries, along with ₹17,942 crore earmarked for rural development. Additionally, the budget sets aside ₹7,422 crore for the power sector, ₹2,025 crore for health and family welfare, and ₹1,094 crore to support women and child welfare initiatives.
