US war spending has reached ₹13 lakh crore since 1917, report says
According to a WION report, the United States has allocated $14 trillion, or roughly ₹13 lakh crore, toward military conflicts since 1917. Data from Brown University's Costs of War Project indicates that the Pentagon's expenditures on the US-Iran conflict have significantly exceeded its initial $29-billion projection. Even at the current rate of spending, the financial impact of the US-Iran war remains much lower than the costs associated with past American military engagements in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
