US Secretary deports convicted child rapist following Minnesota Governor's past pardon

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that an undocumented immigrant from Laos, who was found guilty of child rape, has been sent back to his home country after his legal status was cancelled. Rubio voiced his disapproval of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for having previously issued a pardon to Tou Lue Vang, which had delayed his planned deportation. Vang was found guilty in 2006 for the sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl in the state of Minnesota.
