US gives ONGC green light for Venezuela operations
The US Office of Foreign Assets Control has granted approval to ONGC Videsh, the international division of ONGC, to maintain its business activities in Venezuela. To solidify upcoming investment strategies, the company is now required to finalize a framework deal with the Venezuelan administration. ONGC Chairman and Managing Director Arun Kumar Singh noted that once this contract is officially signed, the company will have a clearer outlook on capital expenditure.
