Jordan Brown, a 36-year-old American, was taken into custody in the Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh near the India-Nepal border for trying to enter Nepal without a valid passport. Brown stated that he is a former member of the US Navy and US Special Forces with six years of service, and mentioned he is an alumnus of California University. He further explained that he ended his military career two years back and wed an Indian woman earlier in 2024.
