US citizen accused of anti-India terror plot linked to Myanmar drone strike
The NIA states that American Matthew Aaron Van Dyke and six Ukrainian nationals, who were taken into custody for planning terror acts against India, also participated in a drone strike on a passenger plane in Myanmar. Authorities report that the group entered Mizoram lacking proper travel papers and smuggled large quantities of drones from Europe into Myanmar through Indian territory. The individuals are presently being held at Tihar Jail.
