UpGrad-Unacademy merger to grant board seat to Unacademy investors
According to a report by The Economic Times, Unacademy's investors are set to secure a position on the board of UpGrad as a result of their upcoming merger. The transaction is valued at ₹1,955 crore, which is a decrease of ₹100 crore from the initial projection of ₹2,055 crore. The deal is anticipated to be finalized in the next three weeks. Gaurav Munjal will remain in his role as CEO of Unacademy, and Airlearn will be integrated into the combined business.
