UP students stage protest for basic facilities; school administration agrees to demands
Students at Sarvodaya Inter College in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, held a demonstration to call for improved campus facilities. The pupils highlighted issues including damaged furniture, unhygienic restrooms, a lack of safe drinking water, and inconsistent power supply. Following the protest, District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Rakesh Kumar directed that four fans be set up in each classroom by the next day. Additionally, an RO water cooler is set to be installed at the school.
