UP ration shops to provide seating and jaggery-based snacks
The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to offer 'gud-peetha' to those picking up free rations, while also introducing seating arrangements at distribution centers. To prevent beneficiaries from having to wait in long lines, each center will be equipped with approximately 25 chairs. This plan was revealed as part of the state's budget allocations for ration shops, with the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for next year.
