UP man undergoes keyhole heart surgery for two-valve replacement
A 35-year-old carpenter hailing from Uttar Pradesh received a complicated double-valve heart procedure at Sharda Hospital using a minimally invasive technique. Medical professionals replaced the patient's mitral valve and performed a repair on the tricuspid valve via a small 6-cm cut. This operation was provided at no charge through the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The patient, who was suffering from advanced rheumatic heart disease, is currently showing positive signs of recovery.
