UP is the first state to provide ₹1 crore accident insurance to teachers and staff
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has introduced the 'Mukhya Mantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana,' bringing new insurance perks for educators. Through an agreement with the State Bank of India, permanent teaching and non-teaching staff are now eligible for a ₹1 crore personal accident insurance policy, along with coverage of up to ₹1.60 crore for air accidents. Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country to roll out this initiative.
