A 23-year-old engineering graduate reportedly died by suicide in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, after failing to land a government position. According to police, the young man was struggling with the stress of not passing competitive exams, having made nearly 50 attempts. He had finished his BTech degree in 2024, where he achieved the third rank in the state and received a gold medal from the Governor at his convocation ceremony.
