UP colleges to monitor parcels and inspect hostels to stop drug use
As part of a new state-wide initiative to fight substance abuse, colleges across Uttar Pradesh will begin each workday with a two-minute anti-drug pledge. The state government's new guidelines also mandate the screening of online delivery packages, alongside frequent checks of campus hostels and canteens. Additionally, the sale of any intoxicating substances is now banned within a 500-meter radius of all educational facilities.
