Ukraine peace deal not expected anytime soon, says Polish PM
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, stating, "It seems unlikely that a ceasefire or peace agreement will be reached in the near future, given the rigid stance of Russia and Putin." He anticipates that Russia will prolong the fighting through at least the winter season. Additionally, Tusk noted that Poland plans to conduct military drills to bolster security in the region and provide ongoing support to Ukraine.
