Udhayanidhi Stalin taken into custody following controversial comments about Trisha
On Tuesday, Tamil Nadu Police arrested Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin. A case was filed against him regarding a remark that many perceived as a double-meaning comment directed at actress Trisha. Stalin had made the statement while criticizing Chief Minister Vijay concerning the Cauvery water issue. Prior to the arrest, the TVK had submitted a formal complaint against Stalin to the National Commission for Women (NCW).
