Uber integrates AI agents into departments to overhaul workflows
Uber is placing autonomous AI software engineers right into its legal, business, HR, and operations departments under a new initiative called the "Agentic Pod" strategy. According to Uber's CTO, Praveen Neppalli Naga, these AI engineers will shadow staff members as they carry out their everyday duties. The goal is for these internal AI agents to engage with company systems to streamline repetitive administrative tasks and restructure how internal processes function.
