According to a report by The Economic Times, Uber is cutting between 200 and 250 positions in India as part of a wider global reorganization that impacts approximately 3,300 staff members. These layoffs will span both manager and employee roles. This marks the second time in six months that Uber India has conducted such a reduction. Earlier this year, the ride-hailing firm let go of roughly 80 employees, the report stated.
