Two Turkish citizens held at Delhi airport for smuggling ₹1.07-crore diamond gold bracelet
Delhi Customs officials confiscated a gold bracelet encrusted with diamonds, worth an estimated ₹1.07 crore, from two individuals from Turkey at the IGI Airport. The duo landed in Delhi on August 19 via IndiGo flight 6E-12, which originated in Istanbul. According to Customs, the 87.5-gram piece is crafted from 750-purity gold and features 50 carats of diamonds. The two travelers have been taken into custody under the Customs Act, and authorities are continuing their probe into the matter.
