Two separate robbery incidents reported in Kottayam
Kottayam has been shaken by consecutive thefts in Akalakunnam and Pala. Burglars made off with 23 sovereigns of gold from a residence and approximately ₹4 lakh in cash from four different shops. The house was broken into while the occupants were out, and the suspects disabled CCTV cameras at the shops before carrying out the robberies. Authorities are currently investigating both incidents, utilizing fingerprint analysis, available CCTV recordings, and a dog squad.
