Two paintings recovered after thieves steal ₹98-crore art from French museum
A pair of thieves made off with four paintings valued at approximately ₹98 crore from a French museum honoring Impressionist artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Authorities caught sight of the suspects and pursued them, causing the thieves to abandon two of the artworks while successfully fleeing with the remaining two. Officials stated, "Attacking the Renoir museum is attacking a part of the history and heritage of Cagnes-sur-Mer."
