Trump jokingly refuses to return NYSE and Nasdaq bell after Oval Office ceremony

Donald Trump became the first US President to ring the opening bell for the NYSE and Nasdaq from the Oval Office, jokingly suggesting he might keep the historic item. Remarking on the bell, he said, "It's so beautiful. I'm not giving it back...They're gonna have to fight like hell to get it back." He had previously mentioned that the bell would be placed in the "new ballroom."
