Trump clarifies he requested a review of Balogun's red card, not a reversal

Following claims that President Donald Trump pressured FIFA president Gianni Infantino to overturn the red-card suspension of US striker Folarin Balogun, Trump clarified his position. He stated, "All I did was ask for a review...I didn't tell him [Infantino] what to do. I can't tell him what to do." Trump further noted, "I don't believe he made the decision. I think it was a committee."
