Translator of The Odyssey criticizes Nolan’s screenplay, calls it embarrassing
Emily Wilson, the classicist from Britain and America known for her translation of Homer’s The Odyssey, has voiced strong disapproval of Christopher Nolan’s take on the Greek classic, labeling the script "abysmal." Wilson remarked that the work fails to offer anything persuasive, noting it is "lacking in emotional, psychological, ethical, and political depth." Furthermore, she described the storytelling approach as "gimmicky," stating, "I would be ashamed to have written any part of this script."
