Meanwhile, Kuching in Malaysia has been ranked as the city with the worst air pollution globally. The blazes have already scorched over 200,000 hectares of land, emitting 46 megatonnes of carbon into the atmosphere. Malaysia is preparing to conduct cloud-seeding operations, as the smog is expected to spread further into Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
