Top Indian automakers privately raise concerns over E20 fuel quality: Report
According to a Reuters report, internal email communications between Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and Mahindra reveal that major Indian carmakers are privately concerned that moisture and chloride contaminants in E20 fuel could harm their vehicles. These emails indicated that samples of E20 collected from 18 out of 21 states and union territories contained impurities. Despite these internal findings, the companies have maintained a public stance that there is no risk of contamination in E20 fuel.
