TMC alleges Mamata Banerjee confined to home during visit to rape victim's family

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has alleged that Mamata Banerjee was placed under house arrest as she attempted to visit the relatives of a 12-year-old girl who was reportedly raped and killed in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The party stated on X that authorities had set up heavy police security and barricades around her home to stop her from stepping out.
