Tibet hit by 5.1 magnitude earthquake following recent floods

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Tibet this Thursday, as reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The agency noted that the tremor occurred at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles). This seismic event follows the devastating flash floods in Tibet and Nepal that have resulted in over 1,000 fatalities.
