Telangana woman rescued after 21 hours in well following robbery
Tangarala Lakshmi, a 55-year-old woman, managed to stay alive for nearly 21 hours after being robbed and thrown into a secluded well in the Karimnagar district of Telangana. The perpetrator is identified as a 21-year-old student. Local residents eventually pulled Lakshmi from the agricultural well and notified authorities. Because she was a swimmer, she was able to endure the night by holding onto a cable submerged in the water.
