Telangana: Woman rescued after 21 hours in well following alleged assault
In Telangana's Karimnagar district, a 55-year-old woman managed to stay alive for 21 hours inside a well following an attack. Authorities claim a student, who was addicted to gambling, pushed her into the well in an attempt to pay off a debt of ₹4 lakh. The woman stayed afloat by gripping a pipe until help eventually reached her. The police have taken the suspect, Dhamma Dinesh Reddy, into custody and presented him in court to move forward with legal action.
