Teen who jumped for iPhone had previously tried to end his life at same Maharashtra cliff
Reports indicate that 19-year-old Kunal Chandgude, who recently leaped to his death from a hill in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, after being denied an iPhone, had made a prior suicide attempt at that exact location in 2025. Sources suggest that the household had been plagued by frequent disputes following the death of Kunal's older brother. Both of Kunal's parents also died after falling from the same cliff alongside him.
