Teen from UP, weighing 275 kg, has bariatric surgery in Delhi

A 16-year-old boy from Uttar Pradesh, who weighed almost 275 kg and had a BMI of nearly 100, received bariatric surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. Due to extreme obesity, he suffered from sleep apnoea, breathing issues, and skin infections, which necessitated a two-week stay in the ICU prior to the procedure. Two months following the operation, his weight has decreased to 223 kg.
