A tea plantation worker in West Bengal was reportedly kidnapped on Saturday from an estate located near the international border and moved into Bangladesh. The victim, identified as Dipankar Gope, was working by himself on the plantation during the morning hours when the abduction occurred. According to local villagers, a group of approximately 15 to 20 individuals from Bangladesh seized Gope and forced him across the border.
