Tamil Nadu is set to build the country's first hub for artificial intelligence and innovation, to be called 'Arivagam'. Finance Minister N Marie Wilson revealed the plan during the budget presentation. The facility is slated to feature an AI university, a global centre for skill enhancement, and a testing laboratory for semiconductor hardware, alongside additional infrastructure. Officials have earmarked ₹5 crore to conduct a feasibility study for the upcoming project.
