Tamil Nadu ramps up stray dog sterilisation and vaccination efforts
Following a stray dog attack on a three-year-old child in the Tirupattur district of Tamil Nadu, officials have stepped up vaccination and sterilisation programs throughout Vellore, Ranipet, and Tiruvannamalai. These weekly camps are designed to manage the stray dog population, boost public safety, and stop the spread of rabies. In Tiruvannamalai alone, over 4,000 dogs have received vaccinations so far.
