The Tamil Nadu administration, under Chief Minister Vijay, has rolled out a specific WhatsApp number for citizens to flag instances of bribery involving government staff. People can now submit their grievances via WhatsApp at 9498180936, in addition to the previously available email address, dvac@nic.in. This move follows the TVK's decision to expel Veera Veerasamy from its primary membership after he was accused of accepting a bribe of ₹1.3 lakh from a government contractor.
