Tamil Nadu CM Joseph Vijay grants MLAs health insurance, new vehicles, and increased allowances
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay has revealed a package for state MLAs, including a health insurance cover of ₹25 lakh, new official vehicles, and a monthly driver allowance of ₹75,000. Furthermore, the administration will grant each MLA ₹25,000 every month to employ an office assistant. Congress legislator Tharahai Cuthbert expressed approval of the decision, noting that it has brought great joy to the MLAs.
