Intense fighting in the Taiz province of Yemen has resulted in the deaths of at least 25 individuals, comprising 15 government troops and 10 Houthi rebels. The Houthis initiated a major offensive early in the morning, managing to capture some ground temporarily until government forces launched a counter-offensive. The battle featured the use of drones, mortars, and artillery fire. As the Houthis fired 14 ballistic missiles toward the western coast, local residents were forced to evacuate the area.
