Taekwondo gold winner informs Uttarakhand CM of ₹1.5 lakh demand for international event
During an open interaction with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun, a student from CNI Girls School shared that she had secured a gold medal at the national Taekwondo championships. The athlete explained that although she qualified for an international tournament, she was told she needed to pay ₹1.5 lakh to participate. She became emotional as she told the CM, "Because I couldn't pay, I wasn't able to go and play in the internationals."
