Taco Bell investigated following widespread cyclosporiasis outbreak in US
American health authorities are investigating Taco Bell's potential connection to a cyclosporiasis outbreak that has impacted 34 states. Previously, the fast-food chain stated it could not serve items like lettuce, cilantro, onions, pico de gallo, and guacamole following a national recall. Michigan has been affected the most, reporting 3,309 cases, with officials suggesting that salad greens or lettuce are the probable source of the illness.
