Supreme Court questions DMK's plea to restrict CM Vijay's Karur visit
The Supreme Court has declined to hear a petition from the DMK, which claimed that Tamil Nadu CM Vijay and TVK members were trying to sway witnesses in the Karur rally stampede case. The DMK had requested the court to place restrictions on the Chief Minister's public addresses and travel. In response, the Supreme Court questioned how it could possibly regulate a CM's visit. Vijay is currently set to travel to Karur on July 10.
