Supreme Court grants divorce to Omar Abdullah and Payal Nath after 17-year split
The Supreme Court has officially approved the divorce of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his estranged wife, Payal Nath, nearly 17 years after they separated. Representing Abdullah, advocate Kapil Sibal told the bench that both parties have moved on and reached a mutual agreement to resolve all outstanding issues. The couple, who wed in 1994, share two sons.
