Sports Ministry begins search for new national yogasana federation
The Sports Ministry has started accepting applications to establish a fresh national federation for the sport of yogasana. Interested and qualified organizations have until September 17 to submit their bids. This move follows a Delhi High Court ruling that canceled the status of Yogasana Bharat, an organization that had been officially recognized by the ministry as a National Sports Federation (NSF) back in 2020.
